Given an (x, y)-Cartesian plane, this matrix can be used to rotate a vector degrees (counterclockwise) about the origin. Similar to translation, and perhaps unsurprisingly, rotation by an angle can be defined by constructing a matrix, M, in the form: We’ll wrap up this tutorial by reviewing our OpenCV rotation results. Ensures that no part of the image is cut off during rotation. I would like to stay inside Neo/OpenOffice, because the application will be installed on a PC _and_ on a Mac. Thank you for your answer Patrick, I hope that the OpenOffice team will do its job one next day. If Sun Microsystems' engineer ever implement this feature request, the new behavior will get included in a future release of NeoOffice. The following feature request has already been filed with requesting the ability to rotate images in Writer documents:

Unfortunately, our very limited funding and developer resources limits the current scope of the NeoOffice project to keeping a native version of running on Mac OS X and fixing bugs is outside that scope. To rotate an image in Apple's Preview application, open the image file in the Preview application by double-clicking on the image file in the Finder, press the Rotate Right or Rotate Left toolbar button, and select the File :: Save menu to save the rotated image. The only workaround for this limitation that I found is to use Apple's Preview application to rotate and save the image before inserting the image into NeoOffice's image control. I am sorry but I have bad news: all versions of NeoOffice's underlying code cannot rotate images inserted directly into Writer documents. In fact I cannot figure when these fields are accessibles. But sometimes it is 90° from the normal and I want to allow my user to rotate it on demand.Įven in design mode, when I right-click on the picto-control than chose "Position and Size", than "Rotation" or "Tilt", the fields on the dialog box are greyed and I cannot modify them. I want to have the picture inside a Picto control because it is easy for the user to double-click than chose the picture to add inside. I am trying to rotate a Picto control on a Writer form.
